The time has come to register yourself or your child for the 2015-2016 dance year. We will have 2 days of registrations :
Saturday August 15th from 12pm to 5pm and Sunday August 16th from 9am to 3pm!
We offer a variety of dance classes for recreational and for competitive groups.

The Hip Hop auditions will be Friday August 28th. Please see image below for times. Don't forget that you need to be registered in order to be able to take part in the auditions. Drop by Saturday August 15th or Sunday August 16th to register. ** Please note auditions are only for dancers who would like to be in a competitive group! Hope to see you there!

The Double Creation Dance Studio 2015 Recital is this Saturday May 9th. You can still purchase tickets this Tuesday May 5th and Friday May 8th. Some tickets will be available at the door. The doors will open at 2PM and the recital will start at 2:30PM. We can't wait to show you our 2015 dances.

There was a lot of running and quick costume changes but you girls and guys pulled through and we got amazing results.
Here are the Thunderstruck Dance Competition results :
Dance Spirit Award to Studio de danse Double Creation Dance Studio. This is a special award chosen by backstage staff and can be awarded to a studio that combines both their passion to dance with positive spirit towards others.
People's Choice Award - POISON (Adult Large Group - Hip Hop - Rising Star) : This is awarded to a group performance with ground shaking energy to represent the each regional for Thunderstruck Canada. One performance is selected from each Regional. The winning routine will be showcased on the Thunderstruck Canada YouTube Channel. The winner will be selected based on the results of online voting. Dates for voting will be the last two weeks leading up to the Top Studio Challenge & Dance Convention.
Off The Charts Choreograph - Mélissa-Anne Leduc - FUEL TO FIRE ( Adult Small Group - Contemporary - Rising Star) : This Off the Charts award pays tribute for the creativity, hard work and persistence required by a choreographer to train a dancer(s) to deliver a memorable performance that tells a compelling story and combines originality, technique and is executed with the precision required of a well-rehearsed routine.

We now have a weekend off before we head to our last competition of the season 5,6,7,8 Showtime in Mont-Tremblant! Check in on April 30th to May 3rd for results of our last competition!
It's almost time for our dancers to take the stage at the Double Creation Dance Studio 2015 Recital! We can't wait to show our friends and family what we've been up to this dance season.
Our dance recital will be held on May 9th at 2:30 p.m. at the Aultsville Theatre in Cornwall.
